During my internship, I have worked with another member of the GSFA, Kate Fadden. (The previous post was also about my internship.) She owns In Bloom Designs. I have learned a lot from her. Besides other techniques and ways of designing we worked on a huge arbor for a beautiful outdoor wedding. This helped a lot in understanding more large scale designs and how to make them work. The first picture is of the arbor and the others are the bouquets she made, each reflecting the designs we did for each wedding.

Fiore Blossoms
My internship here in Seattle has been a great experience so far. I have worked with a few members of the Greater Seattle Floral Association but mostly with Alexa Johnson, owner of Fiore Blossoms. I've learned all about ordering flowers, consulting with brides, making boutonniere, corsages, bouquets, centerpieces, large arrangements and arbors. The pictures here are from a few weddings done with Fiore Blossoms. Many of the bouquets and arches were made by Alexa, but some of the boutonniere, large arrangements, and centerpieces, I helped with.
The next image I did for my favorite wedding with Fiore Blossoms. I loved Alexa's idea to wire the Phaleanopsis Orchids to branches. These are the rest of the images from that wedding. It was at a place called Newcastle, near Seattle. Outside of the tent is an awesome view of the whole valley around Seattle.
